Where To Buy Turmeric Ginger Tea
The first time I had ginger tea was when we went to Dominica back in 2013. Until then, I only used ginger in my cooking, mostly in curry dishes. However, on that small island nation, being one of the most popular plants grown on the island, ginger tea was a way of life. Islanders would start their days with a hot cup of ginger tea and then continue with ginger ice tea or ginger lemonade throughout the day.

Since then, throughout the years, my husband and I enjoyed a cup of ginger tea here and there. However lately, with Vermont winter being a full force, this year we have been making some almost every day.
For the last few months, I have also been adding some turmeric into it as, similar to ginger, turmeric has a ton of antioxidants and anti-inflammatory benefits. They say it helps cleanse the liver, boost immunity, and help with digestion. With almost everyone around us being sick, a cup of this Turmeric Ginger Tea has been our natural medicine.
There is hardly a recipe here. All you have to do is to place the chopped ginger and turmeric into a small saucepan, add in a few slices of lemon, cover it with water and bring it to a boil. Once boiled, strain through a strainer and serve with a slice of lemon.
Thank you for your excellent comments, instructions and recipe. I added a cinnamon stick and a few peppercorns to mine when I boiled the whole ginger and tumeric roots. I have made a similar recipe with cardamon.

Shaped like a horn: this is what ginger means in Sanskrit. This ancient spice, first cultivated and used in ancient China and India, was reportedly recorded in the writings of the Chinese philosopher, Confucius, best known for creating and espousing the Golden Rule, which preaches that one should not do to others what one would not want have done to them. Closely related to turmeric as a root, and a powerful healing spice, China, India, and Arabic cultures have included ginger as a staple in their diets and medicinal remedies for countless years. Best known perhaps as an effective aid for stomach ailments, most notably nausea, ginger is a common inclusion in the foods of many Asian cultures.

Wow, I love this tea. First of all, it is delicious. The taste is mild, and the blend of ginger and turmeric is well balanced. It currently being mid-summer, I am steeping it for a long time in a small amount of water, putting that concentrated tea in the refrigerator, and then mixing it with sparkling water. Perfect summer drink. In winter, the perfect cup of hot herbal tea. As for the CBD effects, I find that the tea, in very subtle ways, focuses and calms me, and eased my anxiety. It is may favorite means of using CBD. I love this stuff.
I have never found a better relief than with this tea. I highly encourage people to try. Tea is a better alternative to other CBD products because it absorbs into your system much easier. You will see results very quickly. This is my go-to Peace Tea, and as someone who never liked tea before, you cannot go wrong with ginger and turmeric.
I have an inflammatory bowel disease and often experience inflammation, especially after working out, a stressful day, or if my body is trying to fight off something. I have been drinking various ginger/turmeric teas for its GI and inflammation benefits; but was also looking for something to substitute for Advil/ibuprofen. I am so happy that I found Buddha Teas; I instantly ordered the Ginger Turmeric CBD tea. The overall taste of this tea is so smooth and relaxing. The greatest benefit is that after dealing with bad joint issues for over a week, I noticed today (had a cup last night), that it had subsided. I even slept through the night which is a rarity. I'm excited to try the other flavors!
A friend of mine brewed a cup of this tea for me in her wellness center, and from the first sip, I knew it was my new morning tea. I make a homemade tea with ginger root, turmeric root, lemon, and cinnamon sticks, so I'm very comforted by the taste of this tea. The CBD ingredient is one that I cannot add to my tea, so now I'm all set. Thank you Buddha Teas. Your tea is terrific! :)
I have been drinking Buddha Teas' Peppermint tea for quite awhile, and recently ordered the CBD Ginger & Turmeric. This is another wonderful tea with smooth, delicious ginger flavor and a delightfully soothing and relaxing "afterglow!" I'll be ordering a lot more in the future!
Absolutely love this tea as part of my nightly ritual before a meditation session and sleep. Very relaxing to the mind and body. Great flavor profile, balanced between the turmeric and ginger. I use coconut oil in my tea as well to aid with the CBD and turmeric absorption. Highly recommend! Thank you for such a quality product!!
Who knew you could get oil into water/tea! I have no idea however they do it, all I can just say is this ... it is a perfect blend of CBD and ginger / turmeric. I use it every day, morning and night. LOVE IT!
Ahh, flu season. Aches and pains and a sore throat put me in no mood to cook right now, but I am sipping copious amounts of tea. Ginger is my old standby, which I usually mix with honey for a warm, soothing drink. This time I added another ingredient: turmeric.
I recalled that turmeric is believed to have anti-inflammatory properties and thought this warm, tongue-tingling spice might make a good addition to flu-season tea. It turns out this is not a new idea; turmeric tea is found in Okinawan and Indian cuisine and I found several recipes in herbal cookbooks and natural health Web sites.
I was given a Vahdam sampler as a gift. They are all particularly exceptional teas! The turmeric and ginger tea was my favorite!! I purchased more for myself and as gifts. I have been enjoying it so much! Thank you!
This is a barista favorite, when the coffee's got us all wired. It's sweet and spicy, with notes of lemongrass, licorice and the heat of ginger and of course, the healing effects of turmeric. Loose leaf. Totally herbal. Totally organic. Totally rad.
